What We Do

Led by a Chairperson reporting directly to the OGF Chairperson and working directly with that Office and all its support wings, this subcommittee shall expand and build-on the excellent advocacy and mobilization work done over the many years of OGF existence. Particular emphasis will be placed on the production of readily available materials, translated in indigenous languages, in the format of short handbooks/pocketbooks, brochures and pamphlets for easy distribution. Of critical importance in this area is a beefed-up online presence where a dedicated OGF website must be set-up as a matter of urgency;
For purposes of building local alliances and harnessing partnerships in Namibia, educational visits to various regions within Namibia will be programmed. Chiefly critical, visible presence in the largely OvaHerero inhabited regions shall be established through satellite Offices and or organizations responsible for grass-root advocacy and mobilization but also linkage between communities and central leadership.
